Denmark Passport Applications

An application for a Danish passport is filed at the Embassy of Denmark in Ottawa or at a Consulate of Denmark closest to where you live. The Application must be made in person. An application form is available at the Embassy of Denmark in Ottawa or the Consulate of Denmark closest to you.

The following are the procedures for applying for a

  1. Adult passport (over 18 years of age)

    You must be able to provide identification when you file a passport application.

    Note that A Child Born In Canada To A Danish Parent acquires both Canadian and Danish citizenship. Between their 21st birthday and before their 22nd birthday an application should be made in order not to lose the Danish citizenship.
