Application Process Guide

eVisa to Bangladesh can be obtained through a simple process that will only take a couple of minutes to complete.

1. You have to complete the online visa application form by filling in your personal details, travel and passport information and attach the required documents as requested.
2. Choose your preferred payment method to pay for your e-visa and submit the online visa application form.
3. You will receive a confirmation number and the completed documents will shortly arrive at your email address.
4. You have to print these documents and go to the Bangladesh Embassy of your area after scheduling an appointment. From there, you can get your visa entry permit to travel to Bangladesh.

You must apply for the eVisa at least 14 days before the date of travel so that the visa processing can be done smoothly and you can collect your eVisa on time!

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• A valid passport for at least 6 months from the date of travel with a minimum of 2 blank pages on it.
• A recently taken digital photograph of your face (use your smartphone or PC web camera).

• After submitting the online visa application form, you have to schedule an appointment at the Bangladesh Embassy within 7 days and get the entry permit or else, your visa application process won’t be successful.
• You need to have a printed copy of your eVisa upon arrival at the airport and this will be checked by the customs officials. Travellers without this document won’t be allowed in the country.
• The eVisa to Bangladesh can only be used for sightseeing purposes in the country. You can visit all the attractions, enjoy the neighbourhoods etc. However, you cannot use it for business purposes, studying or to be employed in Bangladesh.
• You should remember that all the three types of eVisas to Bangladesh are valid only for 3 months from the date of issuance.
• If you are travelling with kids who have their own passports, they will be required to submit an online visa application form separately. The parents or the legal guardians should submit the online visa application form on their behalf.
