Applying for the Mexican Tourist Card is a very easy and quick process.

Eligible travellers who want to visit Mexico are required to have the FFM. To apply for this entry-permit online, you have to complete an application form.
The process of applying and completing the application form online is very easy and should take only a few minutes.
With a smart device connected to the internet, an eVisa to Mexico can be obtained without delays.
Generally, the application for a Mexican online visa can be done in three easy steps:

1. Fill the form online
   First of all, when you click on the button to apply, choose your preferred method of entering Mexico. You can choose to enter either by land or by air.
   After choosing one method of entry, start completing each field of the online application form. There is a space where you are required to enter your personal details. In the correct field, provide your name, nationality, birth date and other personal data as required.
2. Cover the visa fee
   After filling the online form with the required data, the next thing is to cover the eVisa to Mexico fees using a valid means of payment. Choose one of the available and pay the fee of 49 Euro.
3. Receive your approved visa in your inbox
   After the payment has been registered successfully, you will receive a confirmation mail to your inbox. The message will contain a confirmation number which can be used to follow-up your application progress. At this point, your eVisa request will be reviewed. After approval, it will be sent to your email as a PDF file.

To ensure a smooth approval process, it is very necessary to provide correct details and also cross check your application form to correct any mistake that might have been made.

Your tourist eVisa will be sent to your email as a digital document. Ensure that you can print it because you will have to present it upon arrival at the Mexican airport or land border.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

• Valid passport: You should provide a valid passport with at least 6 months validity period starting from the date you plan to travel.
• Proof of flight: A copy of your flight ticket needs to be attached too.

• It is highly recommended that you apply for the Mexican FMM tourist card at least 3 days before your departure. You will have enough time to fix any issues that might come up with your application.
• Once your application has been approved and your eVisa issued, don’t forget to bring along these documents when entering Mexico:
  • A printed version of your approved Mexico Tourist Card.
  • A valid passport which has a minimum of 6 months validity period from the date of your trip to Mexico.

• Mexican Tourist Card doesn’t give travellers the permission to engage in business activities since it is specially made for tourism-related purposes. You cannot take up employment with FMM.
• FMM isn’t an alternative to a visa to Mexico. If you come from the country that is obliged to hold a visa to enter Mexico, you will need to obtain a Mexican visa too.
• Please note that FMM is recognised only in a few border crossing points.
• With the Mexico Tourist Card, you can enter the country only one time as it is a single-entry permit.
