Zimbabwe Visa Types

Before you begin the application process online, make sure to prepare all necessary documents and other things needed.

You should have the following:

• A valid passport: It should have at least six (6) months validity starting from your planned departure date.
• A face photograph: You can use the camera of your PC or phone to take this photo.
• A valid means of payment: You need a valid credit/debit card or another acceptable means of payment to cover the Zimbabwean eVisa fees.
• A valid email address: Your approved Zimbabwean eVisa will be sent to this address in a PDF format.

Applying for the eVisa to Zimbabwe is a very easy process and won’t take much of your time provided that you have all the requirements and necessary documents ready.

There is no need to leave the comfort of your home while applying because you can make it using your phone, laptop, or any device connected to the internet. Before applying, ensure that your passport is at least six (6) months valid from the date you plan entering Zimbabwe. Generally, there are 3 easy steps to apply online and get your Zimbabwean eVisa:

1. Fill the application form online: You should provide your name, travel details, passport details and other information as needed. It is important to crosscheck it to know if you made any errors and to be able to correct them before submitting the application further.
2. Cover the Zimbabwean eVisa fees: With the cross checking over, the next thing is to cover the Zimbabwean eVisa fees.
   After your payment has been made online using a valid means of payment, a confirmation code will be sent to your email.
3. Receive your Zimbabwean eVisa in your inbox: Your application will be reviewed, and once approved, you will receive your Zimbabwean eVisa to your email as a PDF document. Don’t forget to print your approved eVisa to Zimbabwe because it will be one of the requested documents upon arrival.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
Majority of eligible countries need to submit only a valid passport and a face photo when making an online application.
Some nations are required to provide a few supporting documents:

• a digital copy of a valid passport (bio-data page)
• a face photo
• proof of residence in the origin country

Moreover, depending on the reason of your trip, there are a few requirements more:
TOURISM TRIPS:

• hotel reservation proof

BUSINESS TRIPS:

• an invitation letter issued by a company in Zimbabwe
• an invitation letter issued by a company of an e-visa applicant

• Upon arrival, you will need to present to the Zimbabwean authorities:
  • A valid passport. This should be the same that you used when applying for your Zimbabwean eVisa.
  • A printed copy of your approved eVisa.
• Please remember to apply min. 3 business days before your trip to Zimbabwe.
• Don’t forget to obtain a separate visa for every underage traveler you’re going to Zimbabwe with.
• e-Visa to Zimbabwe doesn’t allow you to take up any form of employment.
• It is possible to extend e-visa to Zimbabwe before its expiration date. You can do it at the nearest border crossing point or at the Main Dep. of Immigration and National Affairs.
