Nigeria eVisa Types

Before you fill the online form as you apply for an eVisa to Nigeria, make sure you can meet the following requirements:

• You’re eligible to apply for an e-visa to Nigeria: Before starting your application, check if your nationality was listed among eligible countries.
• You have a valid means of payment: To cover the Nigerian eVisa fee, you need a credit/debit card or any other valid means of online payment.
• You have access to an active email address: This email address is where you will receive your confirmation code and approved documents that you will need to submit during the appointment at the Embassy.
• You have an electronic device with stable internet connection: It can be your smartphone, laptop, tablet or any other device connected to the internet.

  Provide your passport data required in the application form.

  Prepare your credit card to pay e-Visa fee.
• Email Address
  Enter your active email address.

To apply, you don’t have to do much work. Eligible travellers should simply click on the apply button and choose their purpose of visiting Nigeria. Next, all applicants needs to follow these remaining steps:

1. Fill the online form as required, providing all the needed information. Ensure that all details you entered are correct and free from errors before proceeding to the next step.
2. Cover the Nigerian eVisa fee (39 Euro), using a valid method of online payment. After this is done successfully, a confirmation code and your approved application documents will be sent to your email.
3. You have to print out the pre-approved online visa and book an appointment at the closest Nigerian embassy in your home country. This is from where you can collect your electronic visa.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Getting the requirements ready before applying for a visa to New Zealand is a wise idea because it helps save time. Prepare the following:

• A valid passport:This must be your valid passport with at least six months validity period from the date you plan your entry to Nigeria.
• Face photograph: A photo showing your face is needed. Don’t worry, you can take this photo with the camera of your smartphone or laptop.

• Make sure you correctly specify the date of arrival in the application form. This helps in calculating the 90 days of e-visa validity period.
• Since the transit eVisa stays valid for 7 days, make sure you will use it within this time frame to avoid any problematic issues.
• You must have a valid passport before you start applying for the eVisa to Nigeria. Your passport should stay valid for at least six (6) months from the date you plan landing in Nigeria.
• eVisa to Nigeria is not a working permit.
• You can use the camera of your phone or even your laptop to take the required face photograph. Don’t worry about the size as experts will adjust it accordingly for you.
• As soon as your flight lands in Nigeria, you should present these documents for screening:
  • A valid passport
  • A printed copy of your approved eVisa to Nigeria.
