Egypt eVisa Types
The following electronic visa types are available for Egypt:
a single-entry visa: a visa permit for a 30-day stay with the validity period of 90 days. Its holder can visit Egypt only once either for business or tourism.
a multiple-entry visa: a visa permit allowing numerous entries to Egypt, each of the entries can last up to 30 days, while the visa is valid for 180 days since its issuance date.
Validity
There are two types of eVisas to Egypt and therefore, the validity period depends on the one you have applied for according to your travel needs:
A single-entry visa is valid for 3 months from the date issued and allows you to stay for 30 days. You can enter Egypt only one time with this kind of visa.
A multiple entry visa is valid for 6 months from the date issued and allows you to stay for 30 days. You can enter Egypt several times during the 6 months with this kind of visa.
Requirements

The eVisa to Egypt can be obtained by simply following a simple 3-stage process which shouldn’t take more than a couple of minutes. These steps comprise:
Start by completing the online visa application form: fill in your personal data, travel and passport information, and also upload the necessary documents.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
You should gather a few documents to apply for an eVisa to Egypt, which include:
A passport that won’t expire for at least 6 months following the date of the planned travel to Egypt (a digital scan).
A photo of an applicant’s face (phone or a PC camera photos are acceptable).

Important information
Useful information about eVisa to Vietnam
You should get a printed copy of the eVisa to Egypt and present it to the customs officials when you arrive at the airport.
You have to be outside Egypt when applying for the eVisa.
If you are coming from Italy, France, Germany, Belgium or Portugal, you don’t need to have a passport but you should have a valid identity card issued by the government of your country.
If you are transiting to a third country destination, you should apply for an electronic visa and have a valid passport for at least 6 months from the date of your trip to Egypt.
eVisa to Egypt is valid for either 3 months or 6 months depending on the type you have chosen but you can extend the duration at the Immigration Office in Egypt.
If you overstay the duration mentioned in your Egyptian eVisa, you will be asked to pay a fine before leaving the country.
If you are travelling with kids and they have their own passports, it is required to apply for an Egyptian online visa for every child separately. They cannot apply on their own, that is why the application should be done by their parents/guardians.
You cannot be employed or study in Egypt as a holder of an eVisa to Egypt.
If your passport is renewed or expired you must apply for a new online visa to Egypt as it is directly connected with your passport. The moment your passport expires or changes, eVisa becomes invalid.
