This eVisa to Malaysia is a single-entry visa type which has a 90 days validity period. This validity starts to count from the day it was issued.
With an online visa, you can stay in the country for a 30 days period. Ensure that you make your trip within the 90 days validity period before it expires.

    The application process is easier than you can imagine. When you open the form to apply online, it won’t take much of your time and you are done! You can just relax on a sofa at home, pick your phone and comfortably fill the application form online. Once you click submit, you need to wait for your application to be handled by experts.

    Generally, you can apply for the Malaysian eVisa in three (3) easy steps:

    1. Fill the Malaysian e-Visa form online
      To fill the form, click on the apply button on this page and select your reason for visiting Malaysia. After that, fill each field in the online form with the necessary details. The requirements are easy, as you will be asked to provide your basic details such as name, date of birth, and others. You will also have to provide your email address, certain details from your passport, and also a few information about your reason for visiting Malaysia. Don’t rush to submit the form when completed. Go through the details, ensuring that all information provided is accurate to avoid delay in approval.
    2. Cover the Malaysian eVisa fee

      After entering the necessary details, complete the application by making a payment. After doing so, a confirmation mail will be sent to you. Payment for the visa fees can be done using a valid means, preferably a valid debit/debit card.
    3. Receive your approved eVisa to Malaysia in your email address
      After all this has been done, sit back and relax! Your eVisa to Malaysia will be delivered to your email once approved. The Malaysian eVisa will be delivered as a PDF file immediately your application is approved.

    NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

    • Passport bio-data page: A scanned copy of the bio-data page from your passport is needed. It is required that your passport should have a minimum of six (6) months validity period from the date you plan entering Malaysia.
    • Face photograph: A digital copy of a photo displaying your face. You can use the camera of your android phone, iPhone, laptop, PC or any digital device to take this photo.
    • Proof of return flight: A scanned photo of your return flight ticket. This is needed to prove that you will be returning back to your country after your Malaysian eVisa has expired.
    • An invitation letter: issued by a family member residing in Malaysia (this requirement applies only to family trips)

    Useful information about eVisa to Malaysia

    • Before submitting your online form, it is very vital to crosscheck the information provided to ensure that everything is correct and there are no errors.
    • To give enough time in case of any mistakes, ensure that you apply on time, preferably 3 business days before your scheduled departure.
    • A separate visa application is required from each traveller.
    • You need to print out a copy of your approved eVisa to Malaysia. This will be checked upon arrival to the country.

    • Please remember that an electronic visa can’t serve as a working permit.
