Romania e-Visa Types

There are a few requirements you need to make your application for a Romanian eVisa successful.

Before starting the online application, make sure you have:

• A valid payment method: You need a valid means of payment when applying for a Romanian eVisa to cover the processing fee.
• A valid email address:An email address, preferably your personal one is required. You will receive confirmation code and other updates on your application progress. Your approved Romanian eVisa will also be delivered to this mail.
• A working electronic device:make sure you have at hand your smartphone, laptop, PC or any other smart device connected to the web to successfully go through the end of your application.

The Romanian eVisa application form is to be completed online, remember that one application is to be made by one applicant.
Don’t worry, filling an online application form is not a difficult task and can be done within minutes.

There are actually only three easy steps to follow:

1. Fill the online form: To begin, click on the apply now button on this page and choose your purpose of travelling to Romania. The next thing is to provide your personal details like name, surname, nationality, date of birth, etc. You should also provide details about your trip to Romania and attach your face photograph.
2. Cover the Romanian eVisa fees:Next step is paying the Romanian eVisa fees using a valid means of payment. Once the payment has been made, a confirmation number will be sent to your email address.
3. Receive your approved Romanian eVisa in your inbox:Your application will be reviewed and processed. Once approved, your e-Visa to Romania will be delivered to you in a digital format.

Don’t forget to print out a copy of your approved Romanian eVisa because upon arrival, the Romanian officials will check the following:

• A valid passport. This must be the same you provided in the application and should be valid for at least six (6) months from the date you planned entering Romania.
• A printed copy of your approved eVisa to Romania.

• Don’t forget that your passport must be valid for at least six (6) months starting from the date you plan to make a trip to Romania.
• It is strongly advised to apply for your Romanian online visa at least 15 working days before your planned departure. Doing so will ensure that all errors are corrected beforehand.
• Every traveller should have a separate Romanian eVisa, even children.
• Parents/guardians should complete the eVisa application on behalf of their children.
• Romanian eVisa isn’t a working permit and can only be used for business, tourism, and transit reasons alone.
