• Once your application has been approved, one important thing is to go to the airport with your valid passport together with a printed copy of your approved e-Visa. The Turkish authorities will ask you to show them upon your arrival.
• It is highly advisable to apply for an eVisa to Turkey at least three days before intended entry date. Don’t wait too long to avoid delays.
• If you plan on entering Turkey on transit to another country, you don’t have to apply for a Turkish eVisa. The only document you need is a passport. However, you shouldn’t leave the transit zone at the Turkish airport while waiting for your transit plane. If for any reason you have to leave the transit zone, then an eVisa must be obtained before entering Turkey in the first place.
