Procedure for Application of an Argentine Certificate of no Criminal Record

To Argentine citizens or foreigners who have had permanent or temporary residence in the Argentine Republic, please apply for an interview at the Consulate in which the following will be asked:

An application form has to be filled in and fingerprints will be taken. The completed form will be sent for approval to the Argentine Federal Police. Processing time is 4 to 6 months.

If the application is approved, the Consulate General will then issue the No Criminal Record Certificate. A consular fee of Yen $ 5368 will be charged.

Legalizations

  1. Price Lists:

    For legalization of Price Lists (P.L.), the original document duly endorsed by any Japanese registered Chamber of commerce is required. Document will be returned the next working day. A Consular fee will be charged.

  2. Certificate of Origin:

    For legalization of Certificates of Origin (C.O.), the original duly endorsed by any Chamber of Commerce registered in Japan, is required. Original will be returned the next working day. Certificate of Origin must contain description of goods and commercial invoice number. Only those C.O.'s that include goods manufactured in Japan, will be legalized. If goods are produced outside Japan, the C.O.'s must be endorsed by the Argentine Consulate located in the manufacturing country. A Consular fee will be charged.
